DAY 04 in Bangkok

woke up to heavy rain .. THIS is the DRY SEASON !!
Taxi backed into theparking pole .. no big damage ..  only distrurbing.

arrived at 09:00 am. Neither Bir nor Arun were there.
Checked in for 10:45 am visit.
processed all mail and some books at foreign afairs office.

10:00 ... went inside 
10:45 first visits  with chandra and puskar.
      kids from Tanzania came over to talk ...

It was the last tough day .. I hope !
GS .. my friend from Nepal .. told me that we were simplifying the schedule
by delivering all food and books today ... rather than the 
original plan to go across town in the AM .. and deliver at another prison.

so ........... some guys got a year of lentils and curry mix !!!
some lots of books ... just how the schedule went ..
(( schedule is the ever changing visit rules at this place ..
posted schedule is almost meaningless ... so makes planning
 almost impossible))

other prisoners got almost nothing .. buit it was just too stressful
to argue additional hours ... with unpleasant people i..n a harsh situation.

tomorrow is the "contact visit " day at Bangkwang.
it is all arranged ... we hope ...
Oh ... so many uncertainties .. 

i hope it will go OK ... i'll actually get to touch some of the guys i have 
written for four years. .. instead of separated by 2 meters of fence and wire.
 
the Nepal ambassador understands that they are mostly innocent and intends
to do something about it .. i like him very much.

AH .. desert flowers... you cannot imagine how nice it sounds to my ears .
Ferbruary-march should be best season in 100 years ...
Best to check websites of Death Valley, Anza Borrego and others for thir opinion.

I may try to get home early ... as situation in Nepal does not
leave much   space for traveling around .. !

i am ready for some relaxation and heart medicine !!

8 pm ... still doing internet  and editing this page.

dinner will be  youghurt and ganola.
we need to finiah packing
